Following an extensive and in-depth audit and review of trainers and training materials, Steven Hong, Chairman announced today that the YOKE Training Department has achieved LEEA Accredited Training Status for our “Safe Use and Application Training” of lifting components. “We are delighted to receive this honour from LEEA and it reflects on the great teamwork of our trainers and support team” added Steven Hong. The process entailed an audit of the YOKE training organisation, materials, personal skills/knowledge, and facilities to be able to present our Safe Use and Application Training. Richard Oldknow, YOKE Consultant said “the LEEA audit is both fair and challenging, and we appreciate their guidance throughout the whole process, especially thanks to Scott Barnes (LEEA) and the whole LEEA Team, as well as our YOKE colleagues, both at our HQ but also our trainers around the world who worked diligently to achieve this Accreditation.”
LEEA Accredited Training courses are designed specifically for end users of lifting equipment and are delivered on site or as convenient to the students. The YOKE Safe Use and Application training takes the student through seven separate modules, commencing with Regulations, Codes and Standards, Product Safe use, Pre use checks through to Rigging the Load and Risk Assessments/Lift Planning. The aim of this course is to refresh learners with existing knowledge of rigging, lifting and slinging techniques but can also benefit recent entrants to the industry who wish to learn new skills.
