Effective now, WSTDA warning labels are resized from the former 2 ¼” width to a narrower 1 7/8″ width, offering a more streamlined format for attaching to web slings, roundslings and tie downs. The WSTDA Board of Directors approved a price reduction for the narrower labels, passing along a cost reduction due to the change in label size and material required to produce the labels.
WSTDA has developed a system of warning labels, safety bulletins/warning sheets for web slings, roundslings and tie downs that can be used not only as a warning system, but also as part of a larger occupational training system. WSTDA’s on-product labeling focuses on a core set of six important issues: proper training, inspection and recognition of conditions for removal from use, sling protection, understanding of rated capacity, attention to dangerous lifting conditions, and proper storage and maintenance.
WSTDA warning products are available in English, Spanish and French. Learn more about how the warning products were developed, and find out how to order WSTDA warning products here.
