WSTDA Elects Directors; Officers Appointed

The members of the Web Sling & Tie Down Association (WSTDA) elected its 2014-2015 Board of Directors at the 2014 Annual Meeting, held May 6-8 in Charleston, SC. The Board of Directors also appointed the association’s Officers for 2014-2015.

Jeff Iden, Cargo Equipment Corporation, Elgin, IL was elected to serve as President of the Association. Iden’s term as president comes on the heels of a successful Annual Meeting with strong attendance. Interest in WSTDA membership remains strong, with a record 126 member companies.

Supporting Iden is a strong cabinet of Officers including Vice President Greg Pilgrim, Murdock Webbing Co., Inc., Central Falls, RI; Secretary/Treasurer Jim Bailey, Filtec Precise Inc., Tabor City, NC; and Immediate Past President Tom Wynn, Peerless Chain, Winona, MN.

The 2014-2015 Board of Directors includes Steve Atzeni, Kinedyne Corporation, Lawrence, KS; Scott Fleming, Unirope Limited, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; Karl Heinz Keisewitt, Doleco GmbH, Dortmund, Germany; Loren Stolin, Security Chain Co., Clackamas, OR; Henry Brozyna, Columbus McKinnon Corp., Tonawanda, NY; and Trevor Waycott, Unitex Group USA, LLC, Piedmont, SC.

WSTDA will hold its 2014 Fall Meeting at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza, in Kansas City, MO, October 14-16, 2014.

WSTDA includes manufacturers and suppliers of synthetic web slings and tie downs, polyester round slings, synthetic webbing, fibers, thread and related companies.
