As the Web Sling and Tie Down Association (WSTDA) celebrates their 40th Anniversary, the association announces the promotion of a new Executive Director.  The management staff team is now led by Kathleen A. (Kathy) DeMarco, recently appointed Executive Director for the association with the approval of the WSTDA Board of Directors. Fred Stringfellow, CAE, formerly the WSTDA Executive Director, will remain part of the WSTDA staff team as WSTDA’s Management Liaison.

“I’m grateful for the confidence that the WSTDA Board has placed in me to carry out the responsibilities of the Executive Director,” said Kathy DeMarco. “I’ve been working alongside Fred for over a year as Associate Director for WSTDA, and am now looking forward to expanding my role with the organization and leading our WSTDA staff team.”

WSTDA is managed by Stringfellow Management Group (SMG), an AMC Institute-Accredited Association Management Company based in Bel Air, MD. SMG provides a staff team that also includes a financial director, meetings manager, and association coordinators. The SMG staff has been serving WSTDA since 2002.
