Van Beest USA, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality fittings for lifting chain and steel wire rope, will be opening a new distribution center in Chicago in February 2016. This new distribution center comes on the heels of Van Beest’s continued growth in the Northern U.S. and Canada. 

“By opening this facility, we will be able to both reduce freight expense as well as transit time to our customers,” said Chris Keffer, President of Van Beest USA. “I’m very excited to have this new facility and I’m confident that it will improve the already exceptional service levels that Van Beest USA provides to our customers.”

Van Beest is also pleased to announce that Unirope is now a distribution partner in Canada. “Van Beest is ecstatic to be working with Knut Buschmann, Scott Fleming and the rest of the Unirope family,” Keffer said. This partnership means that Unirope will be able to stock more inventory, which will enable them to fill the needs of end users in the Canadian markets. “Both Knut and Scott bring a wealth of knowledge to the industry and we at Van Beest are excited to see their success with the Van Beest product lines,” Keffer said.

 Additionally, Van Beest USA has appointed BILCO as a new stocking distributor for New Jersey and New York. “We are very excited to welcome BILCO to the Van Beest family,” Keffer said. “We wanted to have a strong partner in the New York/New Jersey area and knew that BILCO would be a great fit. It has been a pleasure working with Barry, Mike and the rest of the BILCO Group.”
