According to GBI Research’s estimates, offshore drilling expenditure in South and Central America totalled more than $55bn from 2000 to 2008 with Brazil accounting for more than $45bn of this. Furthermore, South and Central America is estimated to attract close to $100bn in the period from 2009 to 2015 with Brazil alone expected to attract a drilling spend of more than $80bn.  Read more-Industry Review.
