Recently, Teufelberger delivered a 1,900 m long EVOLUTION TK18 crane rope, having a diameter of 70 mm to Kenz in the Netherlands.  Together with the steel reel, this rope, the heaviest ever to be delivered by Teufelberger, weighed approx. 50 tons and was transported without difficulties by specialist haulage contractor Felbermayr. The rope was required to meet the highest standards in terms of spooling behavior, elongation, and wear resistance, as it will be used as hoisting rope on an offshore crane.  In order to manufacture this rope, Teufelberger used their new E40 extruder at St. Aegyd for overmolding.  The exemplary teamwork between Engineering, Production, and Sales departments were instrumental in allowing Teufelberger to deliver this order on time.
