This year’s 46th Offshore Technology Conference held at the Reliance Centre in Houston attracted record numbers with 108,300 visitors arriving through the doors.
Bridon retained their prime position in the main hall on one of the main routes through the show attracting a high number of visitors to the stand. This exhibition is key to Bridon’s Oil & Gas strategy as the show brings together a wealth of industry leaders and key decision makers. This year Bridon again demonstrated its position as “global technology leader” in showcasing its new “Bristar” Polar product, designed specifically for high specification Drill Rigs. Our industry focused R & D programme has led to developing this new product, utilising market leader “Bristar” core technology designed to perform in extreme cold weather conditions with the first enquiry for this product received at the show.
Bridon also presented a renewal of its fibre product range with new literature and a focus on Single Point Moorings. The Sales & Marketing team from EMEA, North America and Brazil hosted visitors from all of our Oil & Gas Key Accounts on the stand along with many other important customers.
Also, on Tuesday morning at the conference the Rt Hon MP Michael Fallon, Minister of State for Business and Energy called at the Bridon stand and spoke with Mark Perry about the progress we have made at Neptune Quay since he performed the opening ceremony. He was also delighted to hear about the work we are doing at the BTC and the way that Bridon is investing in the future of British Manufacturing.
