Straightpoint recently assisted in critical lifts at the Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant in Waynesboro, Georgia. This past summer, heading up the project for Georgia Power, CB&I successfully utilized a group of Straightpoint Radiolink Plus loadcell dynamometers. These Radiolink Tension Loadcells are used in conjunction with Straightpoint’s Multiple Wireless Loadcell Controller software (SW-MWLC). This software allows the simultaneous control, display and data logging of up to 24 Straightpoint Wireless Loadcells from a single Windows PC.
The most recent Straightpoint units to be used by CB&I at the Waynesboro construction site are two RLP250TU’s, each rated at 550,000lbs. These two high capacity Tension Loadcells are being provided by Delta Rigging and Tools out of Delta’s Angleton office in Texas. Since teaming up with Straightpoint this past summer, Delta Rigging and Tools has been building a formidable inventory of rental Straightpoint products.
