Spider, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, announces two new hires for District Sales Representatives, Gary Friedberg in their Philadelphia location, and Frans van Dyk in their Houston location.

Gary Friedberg has joined its Philadelphia operation center as District Sales Representative. In this role, Friedberg is responsible for solving the suspended scaffolding and fall protection challenges of contractors and facility owners in eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern and central New Jersey, and northern Delaware.

Friedberg boasts nearly thirty years of sales experience in the construction supply industry. Most recently he specialized in outside sales with Vimco Concrete Accessories, assisting large contractors on the East Coast with their concrete work on high-profile projects ranging from power plants to hospital additions.

At the same time. Spider announces Frans van Dyk has joined its Houston operation center as District Sales Representative. In this role, van Dyk is responsible for solving the suspended scaffolding and fall protection challenges of contractors and facility owners in southern Texas.

Van Dyk brings over thirteen years of sales and management experience, six of which have been in the scaffold industry. Most recently, he served as Sales and Project Manager for United Access Scaffold in Houston where he was responsible for new and existing account networking, project management, jobsite safety compliance, sales training, and marketing. He earned his Marketing Management degree from the University of Vaal Triangle in South Africa.
