The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) will host the Specialized Transportation Symposium, March 1-4, 2016, at The Peabody Memphis, in Memphis, TN.
Attendance is expected to surpass that of the 2015 Symposium, which attracted 450 specialized carriers, state and federal government officials, researchers, manufacturers and suppliers to the industry.
Before the opening educational session, SC&RA’s Permit Policy Committee and Transportation Safety Education & Training will meet. Opening day will also be devoted to meetings of regional and state highway and transportation officials and to the SC&RA Pilot Car Task Force. The state/regional meetings will resume on March 2 until they adjourn in time for the symposium’s opening session in the afternoon.
