SANY Heavy Industry Company Ltd is pleased to announce its inclusion on the Financial Times Global 500 list, marking the company’s first formal placement among the world’s largest firms. The news comes as SANY continues to expand its global operations in Europe and the United States.
“We at SANY America are quite pleased that our parent company has made it to the FT Global 500 list,” said SANY America President Jack Tang. “Presently, we rank 431st on the list and we project that placement to move much, much higher as our new R&D and manufacturing facility comes online in Peachtree City, Georgia,” Tang added.
In the United States, SANY Heavy Industry subsidiary SANY America Inc has nearly completed construction of its $60 Million corporate headquarters. The new campus in Peachtree City, Georgia, will house SANY America’s research and development team as well as a 360,000 square foot manufacturing area for the company’s high-end concrete pump trucks and crawler cranes.
“SANY has the formula for success in the American heavy equipment industry,” said Greg Trainer, Vice President of SANY America’s Crawler Crane Division. “Within the next three to five years, we believe we could move into the top 100 companies measured in terms of market capitalization,” Trainer added, citing that SANY has grown at an annualized rate of 50 percent for the past ten years.
Since entering the heavy equipment market in 1994, SANY has transformed from a small welding material supplier to a full-range heavy equipment manufacturer with a market capitalization of nearly $21.6 Billion.
