SafeWorks, LLC has recently welcomed David Beckett as Vice President and General Manager for Spider. He will be based in the Chicago area and will report directly to SafeWorks’ CEO Scott Farrell.

David comes to SafeWorks after an impressive succession of leadership roles at Otis Elevator Company, a unit of United Technologies Corporation. During his twenty-six year tenure with Otis, David held multiple roles including General Management of Sales and Operations in Seattle and New York City. Most recently he served as Otis’s Regional Vice President of New Elevator Sales and Service, covering twelve Midwestern states.

David held P&L accountability for sales, installations and aftermarket services created by twenty-one business units and over one thousand employees, generating sales in excess of $400 million annually. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, and an MBA from Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York.
