Free online visitor registration is now available for LiftEx 2012, the annual exhibition dedicated to overhead lifting and safe work at height. Taking place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, on November 29th and 30th, LiftEx is in its eighth consecutive year and will bring together over 70 leading suppliers of lifting equipment and related services.
Geoff Holden, chief executive of show organizers, the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), said: “From small beginnings, LiftEx has become bigger and better every year. It offers visitors a unique opportunity to see a great line-up of suppliers to the industry. The Ricoh Arena is an easily accessible location and there is plenty of parking right outside the venue. Visitors to LiftEx 2012 will also have the chance to attend free expert presentations on a range of topics related to safer and more efficient overhead lifting.”
Visitor registration for LiftEx is available at http://liftex2012.eventbrite.co.uk/
In addition to those directly involved in overhead lifting, the exhibition will appeal to professionals working in health and safety, training, plant engineering and maintenance and the construction and offshore industries. A limited number of competitively priced exhibitor and sponsorship packages are still available. Contact the LEEA events team on 020 8020 5060 or email events@leea.co.uk for more details.
Established in 1944, the LEEA has nearly 600 member companies worldwide and campaigns vigorously for higher standards of safety within the lifting industry. In addition to providing members with training and expert technical advice, the association works closely with organizations such as the Health and Safety Executive in the preparation of regulations and British, European and International standards. Member companies include those involved in the design, manufacture, hire, repair, refurbishment, test, examination, verification and use of lifting equipment. Applicants are subject to an initial technical audit before full membership is granted, and then to a continuing program of assessments. For large scale users of overhead lifting equipment, associate membership provides benefits such as access to technical information and training, without the need for auditing.
