The new Krasnodar Stadium, with a capacity of 36,260 spectators, will be completed in 2015. Redaelli is taking part in the project providing the supply and installation of the speciality steel tenso structures, purposely designed and produced for the arena. Over 510 steel ropes for a total mass with sockets of 450 tons weave the whole structure of the arena’s roof covering the grandstands. The roof is designed as classical looped cable roof and containing two compression and on tension ring. While the majority is covered with a PTFE membrane, the inner edge has a glass roof.
