Proposed 2011 Budget and the Transportation Industry

President Barack Obama’s proposed 2011 budget would fund $79 billion in transportation projects, including $10.8 billion for mass transit and $1 billion for high-speed rail. And when the snowfall pauses in Washington, D.C., legislators are expected to pass a $154 billion Jobs for Main Street Act that earmarks $27.1 billion for surface-transportation projects and $8.4 billion for public transportation.  Read more on Wired.com/Autopia blog
