Petersen Stainless Rigging Ltd (Petersen) announced today that Kevin Bell has been appointed as the new CEO. The appointment follows the stepping down of Norman Bell from the role of MD.
Kevin Bell had previously been responsible for business development and during his tenure oversaw a doubling in turnover within a five year period. The role of business development manager has been filled by Aries Dijkhuizen.
“I am absolutely thrilled by the new challenge,” commented Kevin Bell, “We have achieved a great deal over the past few years but we must not get complacent. We are three years into a ten year master plan and it is going to be a lot of hard work to fulfill the potential of this company. Petersen has a great reputation with our customers for product and service and we need to get that message out to the rest of the market.
“The entire staff at Petersen would like to thank Norman Bell for his years of hard work and dedication. I am replacing a truly exceptional individual which is a huge motivation. Petersen would not be the company it is today without his outstanding dedication and talent. We are only able to reach so high by standing on the shoulders of a giant.”
Norman will be at the METS show on Tuesday 18th November. Anyone who would like to see him and wish him well should come along to the Petersen stand 01.701 at the end of the show day for drinks.
