On Tuesday, November 8th, the flag at Alps Wire Rope Corporation, in Saint Charles, IL, was lowered
to half mast, in honor of a Past- President, Mr. Jim Benner.

Jim was President of Alps from 1985 until he retired in 2006. During his tenure the company
experienced rapid growth. He led Alps from a small Midwestern distributor to become a major
supplier, with nationwide coverage.

His vision survives to this day, and is apparent in the quality of the people and the products that ALPS supplies.

Our condolences to his family during this time of grief. We are all better for knowing him!
