Posted on October 30, 2015

Steel Erectors Association of America seeks nominations for steel erection projects that demonstrate complexity or unusual conditions, or that conquered issues and barriers requiring special management team action or performance. The Project of the Year competition is open to jobs that were topped out during 2015 (Jan. 1-Dec. 31). Nominations must be postmarked by Feb. 1, 2016.

In addition, SEAA will offer companies a 10% discount off new membership with your Project of the Year entry. There is no fee to submit a nomination for the awards program, however you must be a member to make a nomination.

Projects can be entered in one of four classes based on project scope.

·       Class I: Erection Contract of up to $500,000

·       Class II: Erection Contract of $500,000 to $1 Million

·       Class III: Erection Contract of $1 Million to $2.5 Million

·       Class IV: Erection Contract of $2.5 Million and above

In addition to an exquisite crystal award given during the Steel Erectors Association of America’s Annual Awards Ceremony, the winner in each category receives an in-depth profile appearing in The SEAA Connector magazine, the official publication of SEAA.  To find out how to apply your discount, contact Read about past winners and download the 2015 form or brochure here.
