Link Belt Cranes has appointed Sam Meroney as district manager for the North Eastern United States and eastern Canada.

Meroney joins the company after two and half years with Sany Cranes America where he was a regional sales manager. Prior to that he spent held a similar role at Terex.

North American sales manager Skeeter Collins, said: “Sam has lived and worked in the northeast for his entire career and is one of the region’s well-respected crane industry professionals. Our customers and distributors can look forward to an experienced, knowledgeable partner with a strong understanding of their needs in the region.”

Meroney will be based in Hagerstown, Maryland.
