Miller Lifting Products has begun to offer its new eye hook product which is available for working load limits to 400 tons. Until now, the North American market has had no domestic supplier for heavier eye hooks used in special lifts most often in offshore applications. The new eye hooks are in accordance with DIN 7540 and of grade 80 material. These hooks are also available from Miller with pad eyes attached to allow operation of the safety latch under submerged conditions by remotely operated vehicle (ROV).
