Miller Lifting Products, a manufacturer of heavy duty lifting products, recently announced the opening of its new West Coast stocking facility. The company began shipping product from the West Coast facility, located in the Los Angeles metro area, on October 27, 2015.

The additional inventory location will improve service for Miller’s customers in the western states across a broad range of Miller swivel models. “We know that our end users need our swivels quickly. The placement of stock in California will reduce delivery times to the western region by at least a couple of days, rather than shipping from our Houston site. Initially, we will stock based on historical demand and will rapidly adjust our support as the market requires,” said Paul Jankovic, President of Miller Lifting Products.

The opening of the Los Angeles area warehouse brings the number of U.S. shipment locations to three, including the Houston, Texas warehouse and the main manufacturing plant in Charlton, Massachusetts.

Miller sells its products through a network of independent dealers worldwide and has been supplying industry for more than 80 years. Miller is the original inventor and patent holder for the industry- standard angular contact ball bearing swivel. Other Miller Lifting Products include forged lifting hooks, hook blocks, overhaul ball assemblies, and electrically insulating lifting products.
