Manitowoc Cranes has appointed Joe Maslizek as vice president of sales for Manitowoc crawler cranes and Grove mobile cranes in North America.

Maslizek responsibilities will include overseeing sales in North America managing the distribution network and major accounts relationships in the region. He will report to David Hull, senior vice president of sales and marketing for North America.

Maslizek joined Manitowoc in 2001 as the senior regional business manager for Potain tower cranes. In 2010, he was promoted to director of sales and major accounts for Grove and Manitowoc products. Prior to joining the company he worked with Colorado based Grove distributor Honnen Equipment, initially as sales manager for the Deere product range and then as manager of the crane division. Prior to that he was with Jesco Inc, a construction services company.
