Lift Off For Motion Software’s Kinetic Enterprise At Major Exhibitions

Software innovation company Motion Software is set to showcase its new world leading technology for the inspection compliance sector at two major exhibitions, next month (November 2016).

The company’s Kinetic Enterprise software is transforming how compliance inspections and field based service tasks are carried out – giving companies total control and enabling them to manage multiple inspections much more efficiently.

The application will be on show at Adipec, the international petroleum conference and exhibition, in Abu Dhabi 7-10 November 2016 and LiftEx 2016, in Aberdeen 23-24 November 2016, which is organised by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).

Stephen Burt, Motion Software’s Managing Director, said: “We’ve had a fantastic response to Kinetic Enterprise since it launched at the start of year. We developed Kinetic after seeing the benefits our original application was delivering. We wanted to create the next generation solution that would shake up the inspection compliance sector and really transform the way inspection companies work across all sectors.

“Many inspection companies are being held back by labour intensive processes and out-of-date computer systems. Kinetic Enterprise provides one place to securely store and access all data, while an intuitive app builder allows teams to easily create their own forms and reports, as well as share and interpret information. What’s more, we can easily transfer data across from existing systems with minimum disruption.”

Kinetic Enterprise streamlines the entire inspection process across more than 30 disciplines including: lifting, non-destructive testing (NDT), Hose, Wire Rope to Cranes and fire and in sectors such as energy, construction, utilities, transportation and food and drink. It builds on the company’s extensive experience of delivering cutting-edge inspection software.

The software significantly reduces the time from initial inspection to final report and virtually eliminates the risk of human error by enabling teams to collect and share data accurately and quickly.

A simple drag and drop app builder allows the user to create and share forms and reports with colleagues in minutes – this is a vast improvement when compared to the days or weeks it took previously. Inspectors can access the app anywhere, on any device including smart phone and tablet, even without an Internet connection.

The app builder functionality is the first of its kind in Europe and among the first to be offered on the global market. It is already being used by over 5,500 inspectors and has generated more than six million reports since being launched.

An off-the-shelf version called Kinetic Lite is also being launched this year by the company for smaller inspection teams of eight people or less.
