The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) announed the retirement Geoff Holden, their CEO (pictured). Following is from a letter to members from LEEA’s Chairman Oliver Auston announcing the news:
“After serving 9 years at the helm, Geoff leaves behind a legacy of over 1098 members in 62 countries of which much can be credited to his hard work and dedication to LEEA during his tenure.
“Following his wife’s retirement earlier this year, the couple plan to enjoy spending their time in Cornwall where Geoff fully intends to throw himself into his favourite pastime, sailing, which I’m sure many of you who know him will be very familiar.
“As part of the restructure, LEEA are pleased to announce that Andrew Wright has taken up his new post as General Manager and is also acting CEO whilst the board of directors begin the process of selecting a new CEO which we hope to announce later this year. The application process will begin soon and anyone who would like to apply is invited to express an interest to myself and full details will be sent out in due course.”
