Kito Crosby, a global leader in lifting and securement solutions, has been awarded a framework agreement with a leading global OEM, becoming the exclusive supplier of offshore crane sheaves ranging from SWL 20Te to 250Te. This agreement further strengthens Kito Crosby’s long-standing position as a trusted partner in the lifting industry and the world expert in sheave design and construction.
Kito Crosby was selected as the preferred supplier due to its ability to optimize production efficiency, ensure reliable delivery, and provide cost-effective supply chain solutions without compromising quality or safety.

Kito Crosby is a leading provider of sheaves with manufacturing options to best suit almost any application. A key differentiator in securing this agreement was Kito Crosby’s advanced material technology and delivery of high-performance ductile cast iron crane sheaves—developed in collaboration with DNV and ELKEM. These sheaves offer exceptional mechanical properties such as enhanced strength, durability, and fatigue resistance. The optimized casting process also allows for greater geometric flexibility, enabling material reinforcement in critical stress areas to enhance safety without adding unnecessary weight or cost.
Furthermore, Kito Crosby’s deep expertise in industry regulations and compliance standards provides an additional layer of assurance to customers, ensuring that all delivered components meet the highest safety and performance requirements.
This specific OEM agreement, which commenced in November 2024, will remain in effect through 2025, with the potential for extension into 2026 and beyond.
