Ketten Wälder GmbH, manufacturer of the premium stainless-steel lifting brand cromox®, has unveiled its latest product: the CDAW-F swivel lifting point (female version). Designed for use in highly corrosive or controlled, hygiene-compliant environments, the new model extends the existing CDAW range with another versatile, stainless-steel solution for demanding lifting applications and will be useful when a customer already has a screw on a load to be lifted. The female hoist ring will fit directly onto an existing bolt, that meets the end user’s requirements.
Designed for maximum safety and flexibility
According to Ketten Wälder GmbH, the cromox® CDAW-F swivel lifting point offers 360° rotation and 180° swivel motion, ensuring that the hoist ring automatically aligns with the pull direction of slings or chains. Unlike a fixed lifting point that needs to be manually positioned by the operators, the CDAW-F swivel hoist ring adjusts automatically providing greater safety and smoother handling in every operation. This reduces handling time and improves safety during lifting operations.
The CDAW-F is manufactured from Grade 60 AISI 318LN Duplex stainless steel, known for its superior corrosion resistance and high ductility (DIN EN ISO 9227 > 1008 h). The product is EN 1677-1 compliant, features a safety factor of 4, and is available in eight versions ranging from 0.5 t to 10 t working load limit (WLL).

The cromox® CDAW-F is designed for environments where corrosion and hygiene standards are critical – including food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, water treatment, and marine/offshore sectors.
In food and beverage applications, it supports the lifting of processing machinery, mixers, and tanks. In the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, it ensures safe handling of centrifuges, cleanroom systems, and other sensitive equipment. Its resistance to salt spray and aggressive chemicals also makes it ideal for offshore operations and seawater-exposed environments.
