Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE:BHI) announced today that the international rig count for July 2010 was 1,109, up 10 from the 1,099 counted in June 2010, and up 135 from the 974 counted in July 2009.
The international offshore rig count for July 2010 was 798, up 11 from the 787 counted in June 2010 and up 97 from the 701 counted in July 2009.
The US rig count for July 2010 was 1,573, up 42 from the 1,531 counted in June 2010 and up 642 from the 931 counted in July 2009. The Canadian rig count for July 2010 was 350, up 121 from the 229 counted in June 2010 and up 175 from the 175 counted in July 2009.
The worldwide rig count for July 2010 was 3,032, up 173 from the 2,859 counted in June 2010 and up 952 from the 2,080 counted in July 2009.
