Van Beest can now supply two variations of its Green Pin ROV Release Polar Shackles—one with spring pins and one with locking clamp—directly from stock. A third shackle, which features a spring-loaded system, is also available upon request.

The direct-from-stock shackles are made of bow and pin Grade 8 alloy steel that’s quenched and tempered. The temperature range for both is -40 degrees Celsius to 200 degrees Celsius. And both offer WLL 17 up to and including 85 tons.
