Gorbel® Inc., a Victor, NY based manufacturer of material handling and fall protection equipment, is pleased to announce Tim Loughlin as their new Customer Service Director. Loughlin has been with Gorbel® since 1995 and will now bring his expertise to the Customer Service department to better serve their customers.
Loughlin began at his career at Gorbel® in 1995 as a Customer Service Representative, helping Gorbel®’s distributor network quote and order product. Within three years, he became a Regional Sales Manager in the northeast for Gorbel®. In this role, he supported dealers in several states and also facilitated monthly sales trainings for Gorbel®’s network of dealers.
In 2011, Gorbel® launched the Shop Crane product line, a non-industrial crane designed for residential garages and workshops, with Loughlin as the Product Manager, where he was instrumental in helping the product grow and gain national attention through partnerships with Stewart Haas Racing, Graveyard Carz, and Jay Blake. For the last seven years, Loughlin has been the Sales Channel Manager for the eastern half of the country, while maintaining his role of Product Manager for Shop Crane. Loughlin has played a key role in many aspects of Gorbel® in his near 25 years, and will continue to move the company forward in his new role.
