GE Plans to Build Largest Solar Panel Plant in USA

General Electric plans to build the nation’s largest photovoltaic-panel factory in an undetermined location. The factory, which will have 400 workers and create 600 associated jobs, will help GE realize its goal of becoming a major provider in this market. “For the past five years, we’ve been investing extremely heavily in solar,” said Victor Abate, vice president for renewable energy. “Going to scale is the next move.”  Read more- New York Times.
