The Cordage Institute is thrilled to announce that Fran Hoffman with Miami Cordage / Florida Wire & Rigging Works has been elected as the new Vice President of the Cordage Institute! Fran, currently the Chief Operating Officer at Miami Cordage and Florida Wire & Rigging Works, began her journey with the company in 2010 and quickly rose through the ranks to become COO in 2015.

Miami Cordage is a fourth-generation family-owned and operated company specializing in fiber rope manufacturing, wire rope rigging, and custom fabrication. Fran has been instrumental in spearheading quality manufacturing and operational initiatives, always keeping the well-being and development of Miami Cordage’s employees at the forefront of her efforts.

Fran was first elected to the Cordage Institute’s Board of Directors in 2021, and she is the Chair of the Communications Committee.
