Mil-Base Industries, Inc., established in 1983, is a manufacturer of wire rope and synthetic rope assemblies and related hardware. Our company has a long and well regarded history of supplying a large variety of product as a prime contractor to the Department of Defense and subcontractor to small and large defense contractors. Due to the declining health of our owners, we are offering our company for sale, including the name and all files. We would prefer to sell the company as a whole, but would entertain selling all manufacturing equipment and inventory as a lot and would possibly look at offers for particular equipment or inventory. Please note for many years our company has manufactured the MK 105, Mod 0 NSN 1450-00-414-7172 double braided nylon Helicopter Hoisting Sling, and it’s family of slings for the U.S. Navy. Following is a partial sampling of our equipment: a Esco Mark 150, 500 ton press, two (2) each Promec Model No. 438-B Swaging presses, an Enerpac swaging press (similar to LOOS & Co. Locoloc #4-H Hydraulic Swager), a Torrington No. 4 rotary swager, a Fenn 3F-2 rotary swager and an Ewald flash cutter. For load testing assemblies, we have a United SSTM-1 Model # SSTM-5K-E testing machine, a vertical proof test machine and a horizontal proof test machine.
