ESCO Corporation recently announced the opening of a new supply & service branch in Charleston, West Virginia, USA in March, 2015.
With an increased focus on expanding sales of ESCO products to mining customers in the Appalachian region, ESCO has established this new location to create a direct customer connection with nearby mines. The branch allows ESCO to localize sales and distribution of ESCO products for all of West Virginia, as well as parts of Virginia and eastern Kentucky.
Named ESCO Charleston, the new branch is geographically located in a region with a high concentration of coal mining, including some of the largest coal producing companies in North America. ESCO Charleston will begin commercial operations in March, giving ESCO customers a tailored approach to distribution, sales and superior end-user value.
“The new supply & service location enables ESCO to quickly and easily provide on-site customer support to important customers in the area—delivering immediate customer value supporting mining products in the Appalachian region,” said Joe Weber, ESCO’s Vice President of North America for the Mining Division.
Joining ESCO Charleston as Branch Manager is Darwin Hollar, who will lead the site’s administration and sales staff of five employees. With more than 30 years of experience in mining and construction, Hollar will develop and manage safety programs, sales initiatives, operations and inventory control within the branch.
Charleston is among ESCO’s growing global network of more than 30 supply & service facilities. The newest branch is located at 4998 Annex, South Elk River Road, Suite 4, Elkview, West Virginia 25071 (near Charleston).
