David Schock Joins Contractors & Industrial Supply as Technical and Safety Support Specialist for Electrode Handling Division

Contractors & Industrial Supply, Inc. (CIS), an industry leader in specialty industrial rigging and crane services, announces the addition of David Schock to its electrode handling team as a Technical and Safety Support Specialist and Key Account Representative. 

Schock brings more than 15 years of experience in sales, project management and specification, and customer account management in the construction, industrial fasteners, municipal utilities, and other industries to his new role.  He has worked extensively with engineering teams and operators to develop specifications and analyze and recommend the appropriate product for each unique customer application.  David says, “Collaborating and working side by side with my customers allows me to help solve their technical issues and incorporate safety in all aspects of their manufacturing processes.”

CIS’ President Tom Schiller says, “We are delighted to have David on board; he brings a great deal of expertise which will help our customers in the steel industry solve their rigging and electrode handling issues safely and effectively.”  

Schock is a Nashville native, and will be based in the CIS Nashville offices, with frequent travel to customer sites to evaluate their operations and work with them to suggest the best products for their needs.
