David Ayling, familiar to the industry for many years of leadership at Crosby Straightpoint, has joined privately held Industrial Process Automation (IPA) India (IPA PVT LTD) as Board Advisor – Global Strategy & European Market Development. IPA is a manufacturer of load cells, weighing and automation systems based in Banglore, Karnataka, India.
IPA has 48 years of precision engineering in industrial weighing and a portfolio spanning loadcells, strain gauges, belt scales, metro sensors, weigh feeders and more. The company describes itself as specializing in application-driven design. They describe their systems as being engineered to integrate seamlessly into complex industrial environments where uptime, repeatability, and long-term stability are critical. Those systems are used in applications serving steel, cement, mining, power generation, bulk material handling, food processing, and heavy industry.
