Crosby is pleased to announce the new Metric HR-1000MCT COLD TUFF® hoist ring to complement the Imperial HR1000CT COLD TUFF® hoist ring. Both styles are now DNV 2.7-1 type approved.
The HR-1000CT and HR1000MCT provide greater durability in potentially abusive environments and they are suitable for use to -50°F (-45°C). These COLD TUFF® hoist rings feature components that are produced with a maximum hardness of 34 HRc and are zinc coated, utilizing a thermal diffusion galvanizing process for improved corrosion resistance.
Additional features include: all load-bearing components are heat treated, Quenched and Tempered alloy steel, individually Magnetic Particle inspected with certification, individually Proof Tested to 2 times the Working Load Limit, and Frame 2 and larger are RFID Equipped.
Sizes in UNC from ½ – 13 to 2 ½ – 4 inches and Metric from M12x1.75 to M48x5.00 millimeters.
