CONEXPO Latin America and KHL Group partner on road building conference
A prestigious Latin American Road Building Conference is set for the day prior to show opening – October 20, 2015. CONEXPO Latin America is partnering with KHL Group and its magazine Construction Latin America on the event, which targets contractors, equipment buyers and suppliers in the region. The conference will examine road building technology, trends in road investment, and case studies of major ongoing projects.
The conference is organized by KHL Group with CONEXPO Latin America as the exclusive conference partner.
The conference will take place at the Grand Hyatt Santiago hotel, located between the Vitacura and Las Condes districts of Santiago, and a 10-minute taxi ride to the Espacio Riesco exhibition center, the venue for CONEXPO Latin America.
“KHL and Construction Latin America magazine are strong industry supporters and very knowledgeable about the industry and the region. This conference is an ideal complement to the show, and we value their participation in CONEXPO Latin America,” stated Melissa Magestro, AEM senior director exhibitions.
“We are delighted to be partnering with CONEXPO Latin America,” said Trevor Pease, president of KHL Americas. “The conference will provide road building professionals in the region with the opportunity to combine a great networking and educational event with a visit to the CONEXPO Latin America exhibition.
“Latin America’s road network is receiving hundreds of billions of dollars of inward investment every year and is generating an estimated US$10 billion in annual sales of road building equipment. There is a real need for this kind of specialist conference.”
