Vestas Wind Systems A/S , the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturer, said Friday it has received an order for the delivery of 100 megawatts of installed power production capacity to a U.S. wind farm.
“There has been information today in the market of a 100 MW order in the U.S. Vestas can confirm that Consumers Energy and Vestas have agreed on a conditional order concerning a 100 MW project,” Vestas said in a statement.
The company said it will make a formal corporate announcement once the final details have been settled and the order has become firm and unconditional.
U.S. utility Consumers Energy is a subsidiary of CMS Energy Corp.
