In 2025, CODIPRO, the Luxembourg-based specialist in industrial safety lifting systems, proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary. Five decades of technical innovation, operational excellence, and global expansion have positioned CODIPRO as a key player on the international stage.
From French Craftsmanship to Luxembourgish Excellence
CODIPRO’s journey began in 1975 in France, when founder Mr. Lecourt started the business from his home workshop, focusing on screws and forgings. The name CODIPRO reflects the company’s DNA: strict product management (French: CODage) and technical expertise (French PROfessionnalisme), rooted in the automotive industry’s precision standards.
A major turning point came in 1989 with the company’s first patent: a swivel lifting ring capable of handling side loads up to 20 tons. This innovation, developed in response to a specific customer request, epitomizes CODIPRO’s philosophy—transforming market needs into cutting-edge technical solutions.
Following a relocation in 1991 and its acquisition by the Luxembourg-based NO-NAIL BOXES group in 2004, CODIPRO ramped up its international growth. In 2006, production was moved to Wiltz, Luxembourg, where the company invested in advanced equipment and formalized its R&D strategy.
A Legacy of Constant Innovation
CODIPRO has built a reputation for groundbreaking innovations that have redefined industry standards:
- 2018: Launch of the GRADUP brand, offering enhanced technical quality for each component, surpassing conventional steel classification systems.
- 2020: Introduction of CODITRACER, a digital traceability solution that extends product warranties up to 7 years.
- 2023: Release of CODIPRICER, a smart quotation tool that digitalizes customer interaction while maintaining a bespoke approach.
New Shareholding to Drive Future Growth
