Bridger Howes Limited, a provider of content and public relations services for industrial markets, is sponsoring the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) Apprentice of the Year Award, which will be presented at a gala evening on 13 November 2019.
The award is designed to recognise apprentices who have shown exceptional commitment, excellence and dedication to their employers during their apprenticeship programme. TV personality and guest speaker, Rachel Riley, will present the award and the winner will also be offered complimentary LEEA e-learning courses. The dinner takes place after the opening day of the association’s annual trade show, LiftEx, which takes place 13-14 November at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, UK.
Mark Bridger, director at Bridger Howes, said: “LiftEx is a focal point of the lifting industry calendar for many of our clients, and it’s always one of the first events we put in our diary at the start of the year. Our directors have been involved with the show since its inauguration and we feel ingrained in its community. Combined with our passion for supporting young professionals, offering commercial backing to this award felt like a fitting way to raise our profile and support the wider initiative.”
Ross Moloney, CEO at LEEA, said: “The LEEA Awards 2019 offers our members the chance to be recognised as among the best companies in the industry by their fellow members and their customers. Winning one of our prestigious awards is an excellent opportunity to raise your profile as a successful business and a leader in your award category. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our award category sponsors.”
Apprentice of the Year will be one of eight awards to be given on the night, including the Customer Service Award, Innovative Product of the Year, the Kevin Holmes Award, Manager of the Year, the Safety Award, Sustainable Solution of the Year, and the Unsung Hero Award. An independent panel of industry experts will judge the entries.
The LEEA Awards 2019 portal is now open for entries at https://awards.leeaint.com. Deadline for entries is midnight on Friday 9 August 2019.
