New from Boscaro and Eagle West Cranes & Equipment is a multi-function 5 in 1 concrete bucket which allows users the flexibility of owning one bucket for several applications. “Eagle West’s crane service company has often used this type of product for projects its own cranes were used on. We saw the opportunity to engineer a new, more user friendly concept in concrete buckets,” said Gerry Wiebe, Vice President Sales & Business Development for Eagle West Cranes & Equipment.

The central discharge concrete bucket features a counter-sprung box gate, which simplifies its use, especially when filling column forms. The discharge slide can be set for in- or out-of-service without removing it. However, it can be removed if necessary, by pulling two bolts.

Other features make one bucket useful for a number of applications. For example, the bottom platform converts the box gate into a six-inch central discharge bucket, excellent for use in applying roofing gravel and other dry feed products. The variable length rubber hose converts the standard bucket into a precision placement system, such as for filling tight forms or columns. The bottom platform also allows the bucket to be used by a forklift. When not in use, the solid central bridle can be removed to allow the buckets to be stacked for storage.

Eagle West is actively seeking dealers and sales agents for the Boscaro product line. One such company is Certified Boom Repair Service Inc., Tampa, Fla., which distributes Boscaro crane accessories in Florida. “We felt it was a natural extension of our already existing service and repair business to be able to offer our customers material handling accessories,” said Mike Smith, President.
