Having generated widespread interest in the innovative crane camera system at a gathering of leading construction and civil engineering professionals, BlokCam will be the focal point of attention at three additional trade events in the UK, Europe and Middle East before the end of the year.
BlokCam, which delivers live video and audio from the hook block to the crane operator’s cabin, was centre-stage at a safety-themed event hosted by a major construction, services and property group in London earlier this month (October).
The event offered visitors an opportunity to network and view some of the latest developments in plant and equipment to help improve the occupational health and welfare of construction workers.
BlokCam will now travel to Amsterdam where it is a Supporting Sponsor at the World Crane and Transport Summit on 4-5 November. The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) will then host the crane camera company at its annual LiftEx show in Liverpool on 11-12 November; and the association’s Lifting & Rigging Conference Middle East in Dubai where James Desira, national sales manager at BlokCam, will lead a presentation to a delegation of crane and hoist professionals at the two-day event on 14-15 December.
Desira said, “On the back of unprecedented interest in the product at the construction-themed gathering, we are excited about continuing the momentum at three additional events that will promote our product range primarily to crane and lifting equipment professionals.”
The World Crane and Transport Summit is a key meeting place for users and buyers of cranes and transport equipment as well as manufacturers and distributors. The event regularly attracts audiences in excess of 250 people, from all over the world, including many of the largest crane and transport equipment owning companies.
LiftEx is the flagship trade show of the representative body for all those involved in the lifting industry worldwide and is expected to draw a crowd of 1,500 dedicated industry decision makers and end users from a wide range of vertical markets, including construction; oil and gas; utilities; and manufacturing. The association then takes its popular conference and tabletop exhibition format to a local demographic from the Middle East.
“I am particularly looking forward to exhibiting at LEEA’s Liverpool and Dubai events, while the opportunity to deliver a presentation to the Middle East delegation represents a priceless opportunity to package our safety message in an educational way that will add value to the participation of lifting professionals and safety leaders from a market at the core of our growth strategy,” said Desira.
