Designed and fabricated by Bishop Lifting Products (BLP) Houston, this sling basket was created to secure and recover the NASA capsule pictured to the right.  After being deployed into one of the outer atmospheres, it will return to earth and land in the water. A team of NASA and Navy divers will recover the capsule to study it.  This sling was specifically designed to not disrupt or impact any part of the capsule, in order to study it correctly.
