Expansion and Location Beneficial to Permian Basin Clients

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. (BLP) relocated its Odessa, Texas branch from downtown Odessa to 12828 West I-20 East. The new shop is on the I-20 service road between the Midland airport and Odessa. This new location has increased capacity and will make it easier for our customers to find us en route to oilfield locations in the Permian Basin.

Jeff Bishop, President of Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. headquartered in Houston, TX, set up and coordinated the move. “We needed an updated and visible location with ample square footage for our proof tester, swaging machine, wire rope spooler, and inventory. We also added a huge showroom and training center for customers,” said Bishop.

Houston wire rope & rigging company BLP has branch locations in Odessa, Texas, Rock Springs, Wyoming, Beaumont, Texas and New Iberia, Louisiana. The Houston headquarters, located east of downtown, spans 13 acres with three buildings including offices, inventory and fabrication facilities. Bishop Lifting Houston supports all branch’s fabrication for items like large wire rope slings, web slings, Slingmax ® Rigging Solutions, polyester roundslings and custom steel fabricated lifting devices. Houston is also home to five proof testers, engineering and steel fabrication personnel, and crane and rigging service technicians.
