Barnhart has reached a definitive agreement to purchase Crane Rental & Rigging of Omaha, Neb. Crane Rental & Rigging, which has 60 employees and a fleet of over 40 cranes, will now operate as Barnhart, and will fully transition as part of the Memphis-based company’s national network of branches.

In addition to Omaha, Crane Rental & Rigging has two other Nebraska locations in Lincoln and South Sioux City. The company also currently has offices in Iowa in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport and Ames and in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Customers in the Midwest will continue to receive the same high quality services they have come to expect. However as part of the Barnhart “One Team” network they will have access to the nation’s most innovative rigging systems, wind turbine up-tower services, Project Cargo Logistics capabilities, and a department of over 40 engineers.
