Crane and hydraulic service company Alatas Americas has appointed Sandy Mottram as manager of its new rope access and Non Destructive Testing service division – Alatas Access Inspections.

Mottram will be responsible for expanding the range of support services provided by Alatas to include rope access Inspections, non destructive testing services, lifting equipment inspections and drops programmes. He joins the company after 13 years with the French owned Reel group, most recently covering a similar role.

Mottram said: “Having worked with Alatas on several projects in the past, I am very excited for this new challenge and looking forward to building a new division of services.
