Just last month, the NCCCO Foundation launched MyCraneCareer.org, a website dedicated to educating, engaging, and exciting people about amazing careers in the crane industry. I hope that you’ve had a chance to explore the site, but if you haven’t, I encourage you to spend a few minutes exploring the content. With predicted shortages of skilled operators in the coming decades, fueled by an aging workforce, the site aims to educate others about our field and provide engaging, interactive resources for individuals to get started on their path toward training, certification, and employment.
MyCraneCareer.org is intended to be a tool for the entire industry, and we hope that it will support your work in building the next generation of qualified crane and load handling professionals.
We wanted to not only share the website as a resource, but also provide a toolkit for you to use in your outreach and recruitment efforts. On the site you’ll find a special section of resources, including infographics, social media posts, and videos that you can use to tell the story of our industry and share the benefits of a career in cranes to others. From high school students to seasoned professionals, the website and toolkit contain engaging content we believe will be valuable to anyone considering cranes as a career.

In our ongoing effort to grow our industry, we plan to continue to add content and resources to the toolkit over time. Please reach out if you have ideas of additional content that might be helpful to you or your teams.
Together – let’s build something better for the entire crane industry!
